Gone are the days of relying on tools to improve your business!!  Gimmicks, new programs, new flavors of the month just don’t work and they have no staying power. Americans are great copiers and yet we don’t copy the right things.  We blindly copy tools whether they be Six Sigma, ISO, 5S, or Value Stream Mapping.  If one is to copy anything, copy the Principles first of great companies (i.e. Toyota) or of great business gurus (i.e. Dr. Deming), past or present.  Then, deeply understand the principles and challenge the current culture and every current business practice within your organization for alignment.  Create “To Stop Doing” lists.  Developing and modify the practices and culture to ensure consistency and alignment with the Principles, and then lastly, identify, or (what the hell), develop the tools to support the Principles, Culture and Practices!

Our success is measured by how much your organization improves in quality and reduces waste without relying on me or any other consultant or trainer. My success is based on your success, my reputation, your referrals, and not how on much you spend on my services.

Mike’s message is one of brutal honesty regarding the failings of many U.S. companies.  His message is one of a total and complete process focus at all levels, but most especially, at the highest levels, within the organization.  His message is based on Principles 1st, including the respect and involvement of all employees, constant focus on the elimination of waste, getting to the root causes of all issues, true leadership attributes, and continuous improvement, or the little improvements made every day, by everybody.

Many of Mike’s keynote presentations are performed in part, as an impersonation of the late great Dr. W. Edwards Deming. Click here for my information. (link to Deming page).
